Hey Readers,
Welcome back!
Since the September giveaway went so well (congrats to all the winners), I’m happy to announce another big giveaway.
Running from October 3-31st.
If you love YA/NA Sci-fi/Fantasy, enter to win below.
Included in the drawing are ten signed copies of print books, a bundle of ten e-books, and a $100 Amazon Gift Card.
I’ll be contributing a signed copy of WANING MOON, book one in the Chronicles of Lily Carmichael Trilogy. You can download the e-book for FREE at your favorite online retailer, but wouldn’t it be cool to have a signed print copy? Enter the Rafflecopter above for your chance to win.
In other news, it’s time once again for the annual Granville Harvest Fair, where I’ll be signing books in my usual spot next to the old public library in Granville center (Granville, MA) on the corner of route 189 and 57. If you’ve ever been out this way, you’ll recognize the Granville Country Store (famous for their amazing cheeses). I’ll be there Columbus Day weekend on Saturday, 10-5, Sunday 12-5, and Monday, 10-5. I hope you’ll round up the family and attend this fabulous harvest fair. There will be great food, dozens of talented crafters, and tons of fun for the kids. Be sure to stop by and say hi!
I’ll also be appearing at the Boston Book Festival on Saturday, October 15th, speaking on a panel about getting self-published e-books into libraries. Several of my books are already available in e-book format in Massachusetts libraries. It’s the aim of Bibliolabs, in coordination with Library Journal, to make self-published e-books available to readers all across the country in their public libraries. This well-attended annual book festival offers many wonderful workshops for writers and opportunities for readers to connect with their favorite books and authors.
Locally, I’ll be appearing at the Cossitt Library in North Granby, CT. on October 25th from 6-7:45 p.m., speaking to a writer’s group about my writing journey, and spending some hands-on time working on writing prompts (exercises to spark creativity). Please feel free to join us if you have any interest in writing.
Lastly, in preparation for this year’s NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month), I’ll be at the Granby Public Library in Granby, CT. on November 3rd, from 6:30-7:45, speaking about staying healthy while writing/sitting your way to fulfilling your dreams. I’ll share my best weight management and self-care tips from my book OVERCOME YOUR SEDENTARY LIFESTYLE (A Practical Guide to Improving Health, Fitness, and Well-being for Desk Dwellers and Couch Potatoes)
In the meantime, I’m still working on the next installment of Savage Cinderella Novella Series, LOST BOYS. Watch for the cover reveal later this month! If you haven’t read SAVAGE CINDERELLA or the first novella in the series, FINDING HOPE, you can read the novel that started it all, in its entirety on WATTPAD and read the first chapter of FINDING HOPE.
Eighteen-year-old Brinn Hathaway has survived on her own in the Northwest High Country of Georgia since she was left for dead in a shallow grave by the man who kidnapped her as a child. When a young nature photographer, Justin Spencer, catches the wild girl on film and the two form a tentative friendship, Brinn must decide if coming out of hiding is worth the hope—and the danger—that may await her.
FINDING HOPE, Book One of the Savage Cinderella Novella series, picks up a year after Brianna Hathaway’s return from the wild. As she and Justin struggle to work through her recovery, Brinn must come to terms with who she is and discover her place in this strange new world. When Cody asks for her help in solving a kidnapping case for the FBI, it brings her worst nightmares to the surface. But will it be what she needs to finally put it all behind her and move on? Or will it lead her down a path into a dangerous world? A child is missing…and time is running out.
Follow Brinn, Justin, Cody, and a cast of new characters through a series of novellas. Each story will bring a new adventure, another crime to solve, and more danger for Brinn and company as they delve into the world of human trafficking.
Now available in paperback!
Enjoy your autumn!
Blessings,
PJ
