New Release and a Holiday Novella

Happiest and healthiest of holidays, my friends!

I hope you’re all well and enjoying some much-needed relaxation through the holidays. There’s nothing like time with family and friends to help us remember what’s important. It’s been quite a year–a difficult one for so many. As we approach 2017, may we all commit to spreading a spirit of love, peace, and unity with our fellow countrymen and women and our brothers and sisters around the world. If we all do our part to treat each other with respect and dignity, I have faith that love and compassion will triumph over hate and division. We must remember that those things that divide us are not as strong as the common bond of humanity that we share.

Having been terribly distracted by world events these past few months, I’m looking forward to returning my focus to being productive. Although I plan to remain vigilant and continue to do my part as a citizen, I also recognize that forging on in daily life is necessary to bring order out of chaos.

Fortunately, that’s what we writers do! We take a spark of inspiration, feed it with imagination, and cultivate chaos into a garden of beauty that nourishes the heart, mind, and soul. Doesn’t it sometimes feel that way when you read a great book?

In hindsight, 2016 was actually a very productive year for me on the writing/publishing front. In January, I published my first non-fiction title, OVERCOME YOUR SEDENTARY LIFESTYLE, and by year’s end had added two novellas to my Savage Cinderella Novella Series, FINDING HOPE and my latest release, LOST BOYS.

I also republished SAMI’S CHRISTMAS WISH LIST as a stand alone title. I had previously included it as part of the Girls of Thompson Lake box set.

I’ve really enjoyed revisiting the characters from my previous novels and I hope you’ve been able to follow along with their journeys through the tumultuous twists and turns of teen life and young adulthood.

As always, reviews are greatly appreciated!

As for coming plans, I’ve already begun my as yet untitled third novella in the Savage Cinderella Series and hope to have it finished by late Spring.

On the health and fitness front, I’ve been working on an idea for an OYSL 30-day challenge. Wouldn’t it be great to have guided activities to help you eat smarter, and specific tasks to jump start your health and fitness goals? More news on that coming soon!

In the meantime, I’ll be at the Blue Umbrella Book Store in Westfield, MA. on Thursday, January 19th from 6-7 p.m. talking about strong female characters in young adult fiction, and signing books.

I’ll update my events/calendar page with appearances once I have a few more locked in. Thanks so much for sticking with me, reading and reviewing my books, and sharing this crazy writer’s journey with me. I appreciate each and every one of you!

Peace, blessings, and good health in the new year

PJ

I love hearing from readers!
